Catherine Writes:
There are so many tough-to-answer questions women face in the aftermath of betrayal, questions they are often afraid or ashamed to ask. It is my hope and my prayer that the work I and others in this field do will see the normalization, validation, and exploration of these questions, allowing women to journey through this season of their spiritual lives with authenticity and congruence.
As an overcomer of both my own decade-long substance addiction and of the trauma created by betrayal, I know the issues of addiction and betrayal trauma in a deeply intimate and experiential way. Now an international coach, trainer, speaker, and educator on topics related to addiction, recovery, trauma and betrayal, I have developed a passion for understanding and working with the spiritual impact of betrayal on women and working with them to journey this experience within a safe, supportive, loving and non- judgmental space.
A pioneer in the field, I created, in my role as Head of Recovery with the non profit ministry Naked Truth Project, a first of its kind online recovery program for partners of men with problematic sexual behaviors, consisting of online support groups, monthly educational webinars, and focused, topic-based groups.
The Whole Hearted Partner Programme supports women across the world in a flexible and affordable way. My work has since grown to offer partner-informed support and accountability to men seeking recovery from their PSB’s, also. Our Whole Life Recovery Programme seeks to help men grow beyond mere sobriety into full recovery, reclaiming their full potential as human beings.

Kristin served in campus ministry for 15 years during which time her marriage was shattered by sexual addiction and a subsequent divorce in 2006. Years of rebuilding her life and faith through partner's group, therapy and trauma work were followed by the blessing of marriage to her husband Michael in 2010. Together they co-founded Living Truth in 2013. Living Truth’s mission is to break the silence surrounding sexual struggles, offering hope for freedom and life transformation after the devastating impact of pornography, infidelity & sexual betrayal trauma.
Michael started the Men in the Battle ® network of recovery groups for men to break free from sexual addiction. Together with a fabulous team, Kristin developed Women in the Battle®...faith-based, trauma informed partner recovery groups! Because these groups for both parts of the coupleship can work in tandem, there is a greater hope for successful restoration of the family!
Men in the Battle® & Women in the Battle® groups are easily duplicatable, using a video teaching curriculum and one on one support for facilitators so groups can run anywhere in the world!

I never aspired to be a coach for wives of sex addicts, but when I found out my husband, the father of our three children, had betrayed our marriage vows, I found myself in a
world I’d never imagined. . .I decided that I would not waste the pain: I would help other women get out from under the deep-seated shame they carry so they can create
the life they dream of living.
For years, I lived with an enormous amount of grief, pain, anger and most of all shame. After huge attempts and years of trying to save our marriage, we divorced, but deep down I knew there was a way for him to recover and for me to heal and forgive so we could be a family once more. I persistently researched sexual addiction, attended SA seminars, learned from other wives of sex addicts, and earned my coaching certification through The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
Finally, we found a sex addiction counselor who was able to help us build a
new marriage, and I am humbled to be remarried to a brave man
courageously working to be who he has longed to be.

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
This is a content preview space you can use to get your audience interested in what you have to say so they can’t wait to learn and read more. Pull out the most interesting detail that appears on the page and write it here.

The APSAT Purpose & Mission:
"Sex addiction and compulsivity is an issue being encountered within all clinical treatment settings. The wounded and betrayed partner or spouse is, in many settings, the primary patient/client seeking effective assistance and treatment. Over the past several years, there has been a move toward utilizing a trauma perspective in treating the traumatic impact of sex addiction upon the partner or spouse. This is the essential difference from the historical sex addiction models that emerged in the 1980s.
Our Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model training seeks to provide a sound foundation for assisting partners in their healing process, and is the required training toward certification as a Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) or Partner Coach (CPC). Trainings are offered “face to face” or through real-time webinar formats...." (APSATS, https://www.apsats.org/training).
